Town of Georgetown transfer station

Our new Transfer Station is now open! This G. Mello Transfer Station provides residents, non‑residents, and commercial customers with a safe, clean, and environmentally friendly location to dispose of solid waste and recyclables.

The facility accepts all solid waste, aside from hazardous materials, and offers separate recycling areas for newspapers, glass, tin, aluminum, and plastics #1 through #7

Sunday 7:30AM-12:00PM

Residential Drop Off
Monday through Thursday 7:30AM–3:00PM
Friday through Sunday 7:30AM–12:00PM

Commercial Scale Pricing

Scale fee = $300.00/ton ($0.15 per pound) | $35.00 minimum charge
An additional $5.00 scale usage fee per transaction will be applied.
$25.00 Bulk handling fee may apply
